What makes the involvement in heavily simulated imagery so popular?
Is it the visual interaction or is it the stimulation of allowing your mind to run ramped with the ideology of non existence?
The virtual world is becoming more and more interactive for humans, the notion of reality is often blurred. People these days prefer spectacles to reality. We would rather go to Disney world than to work. When we watch the news, we would rather be entertained than informed. The consequence of this preference is that reality loses its status, and that the effectiveness of simulation is greater than the potency of reality.
