Virtual - Memories

The word virtual is immediately related to technology advancements and 'cyber' space, but virtual can have a much deeper meaning than this.

It can simply be associated to ones imagination. Both words have the shared meaning of 'not real' when looked at in a specific manor they share non existent characteristics of appearance, every person has a different visual perception when thinking of the words Virtual / imagination as a literal object does not exist.

So how does one address parliament in a 'architectural' manor through a method of non existent materiality  ?

The word 'parliament' subconsciously brings to mind an image that the majority of people share. Immediately this shows the recognition of place in ones imagination. The symbolic form an image holds within ones mind is often shared depending on their experiences and thoughts of that specific place.

Virtual - Simulation VS Reality

Finding the balance between the quest for whats real and whats not is a discussion that occurred today.

What makes the involvement in heavily simulated imagery so popular?

Is it the visual interaction or is it the stimulation of allowing your mind to run ramped with the ideology of non existence?

The virtual world is becoming more and more  interactive for humans, the notion of reality is often blurred.  People these days prefer spectacles to reality. We would rather go to Disney world than to work. When we watch the news, we would rather be entertained than informed. The consequence of this preference is that reality loses its status, and that the effectiveness of simulation is greater than the potency of reality.

Connections to Parliment

Throughout the process of discovering new ideologies most brainstorming will be oriented around the following sub headings

_Virtual

_Mobile
 _Flexible
 _Distributed

The aim of this process is to think outside of stereotypical imagery and objects associated with these specific theme orientated words.
