How is this structure mobile?

Although this building is not the most mobile of structures, its intention is to move around the world to different destinations. But figuring out how this is possible i aimed to represent how the building is constructed and deconstructed with all of its major components.

Molding a curved form

Above is an image of inspiration.

I began molding 2 shapes together. Almost to recreate the unity of 2 individual eclipse shapes.

This diagram demonstrates the travel though the building. Occupants travel Up the rising elevator platform to  the lookout and travel down a system of ramps.

The begining of modeling up the structure of the building and the skin.

Creating the element of suprise upon entering the building

The Journey

The structure is made up of 3 specific elents

THE JOURNEY

THE OUTLOOK

THE REFLECTION POINT

All 3 of these key elements need to be tied together to create an overall experience of awe and connection.

The image above is sourced from St Peters. It captures the aesthetic of a vertical/ downward / upward system of travel i wish to emulate throughout my building.

FLUID form

I began to realize that the form i was creating didn't have a direct link to type of building i was aiming to create.

This structure needs to emit signs of unity and peace. Through the use of sharp jagged lines i felt this was quite contradicting.

My form started to lean towrads more fluent shapes. I took inspiration from Miluakee......

Form Processes

My concept revolves around being a symbolic structure that is both recognizable and has an individual form. I played with alot of different shapes. I began to play with triangles and sharp angles.

Creating a SYmbol

It is important to generate a form that is recognizable to every nation.
The building must have a significance among society as well as be a respected form.

War - a first glance.

WAR -

Moving on from the first assignment i have chosen to go down the route of the regularity of war?

What happens after war?

What brings people together again?

How do people react?

How do people reflect?

What gives people a symbol of change?
